The pipe vibration monitoring system consists of Predictors clamped on process piping. The clamps used are a simple industry standard saddle straps. The device is approved Intrinsic safe by Presafe 20 ATEX 403841 / IECEx DNV 21.0105 and CE compliant tested by Nemko NEX388458.

The Predictors communicate over Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) with one Intelligent Cloud Link which can communicate with Ethernet, Wifi or 4G/LTE. The Ideation Predictor Information Manager (PIM) installed will receive and prosess data and display this to end user,

The Intelligent Cloud Link is installed in an Exd box with pre-installed cable and plug connector.

The Intelligent Cloud Link box is certified: II 2 G Ex db IIC T6...T3 Gb

Predictors will monitor pipe vibrations and optional pipe surface temperature (surface temperature is not configured in the present setup)

Each Predictor is configured to measure 3 axes vibrations (x, y, z) with 500 Hz sampling rate. For each measurement period 5000 samples are stored in the Predictor with time. The Predictor receives the time information from the Intelligent Cloud Link, which in turn is updated from the PIM / 4G/LTE.

CSV formatted data series of vibration data will be accessible through the Predictor Information Manager (PIM) which communicate bidirectional data with the Iintelligent Cloud Link over the Ethernet, Wifi or 4G/LTE mobile network.
